I
graduated from London University in 1979 and worked in hospital
and community pharmacy for 20 years.
In 1988 I completed a course in veterinary pharmacy and
whilst undertaking a project for this course I became convinced
of the power of homeopathy through the successful treatment
of animals. |
|
|
I trained at the Faculty of Homeopathy in London and went
on to practice homeopathy for many acute conditions. |
I
gradually began to treat more chronic illness and went on
to train as a homeopath. I completed the four-year course
in 1999 and have been working full time as a homeopath since
then.
My post graduate studies have included a two-year course
with Jeremy Sherr at the Dynamis School of Post Graduate
Homeopathy.

I
discovered the effectiveness of homeopathy when my son was
a baby and suffered severe eczema and allergies.
I went
on to undertake a four-year course at the School of Homeopathy
in Devon, the longest established in the UK, where I was
lucky enough to experience the teachings of some of the
country's leading homeopaths. I was awarded my diploma in
June 2005 |
|
I
am also the editor of the Society of Homeopaths Newsletter,
making use of my previous 18-year career in journalism,
where latterly I had a particular interest in health.
After
my son was born, I became a freelance journalist, writing
features for newspapers and magazines including The Times
and The Daily Telegraph.

It’s
a safe, gentle and effective system of healing. It works
on the law of similars, in another words, the principle
of treating “like with like”. That is, a
substance that would cause symptoms in a healthy person
is used to cure those same symptoms in illness.
